Federal ministers accuse PTI of misusing K-P resources
Federal ministers Attaullah Tarar and Engineer Amir Maqam on Monday accused PTI opposition of adopting unethical measures to pack their latest protest, claiming that attendees were forced into participation.
During a news conference held in Islamabad, the ministers criticised the opposition, in particular the Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, for using offensive language during the protest.
Amir Maqam asserted that the opposition misused public resources for the event and the opposition’s discourse is more focused on threatening than offering solutions for the country.
He further said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders were involved in internal disputes over corruption causing a rift with the public.
During the event, he also addresses the derogatory comments made against Maryam Nawaz, describing them as an insult to the nation’s traditions.
Attaullah Tarar, the minister of information, reaffirmed that the event violated the Pashtun culture of respect for women and denounced the opposition for failing to address pressing concerns like terrorism.
Attaullah Tarar claimed People rejected the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally on Sunday. He also cited the PTI’s shortcomings in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, criticizing them for not being able to launch even one significant initiative during their tenure.
Both Ministers claimed that the demonstration was a failure and encouraged PTI to refocus its efforts on helping the citizens of its governing province.
