Pakistan condemns the killing of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran
Pakistan condemns Hamas political Chief Ismail Haniyeh’s assassination in Tehran today expressing profound shock at timing. “Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations including extrajudicial and extraterritorial killings irrespective of the motives” said a Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson.
Pakistan also extends concerns to Haniyeh’s family. “We are deeply shocked by the timing of this reckless act, coinciding with the inauguration of the President of Iran, an event attended by several foreign dignitaries, including the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan,” the statement read.
Pakistan says it sees assassination as a “reckless act” and views Israeli adventurism growing in the region with serious concerns.
