PM Shehbaz pays tribute to PAF sacrifices
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif honoured the Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) on September 7, Airforce Day, for enduring sacrifices and professional excellence.
In remembrance of the martyred of the 1965 war against India, the country observed its 59th Defense Day yesterday.
A change of guard’s ceremony was held at major locations, like Allama Iqbal’s tomb in Lahore and the Mizar-e-Quaid in Karachi.
The prime minister Shehbaz Sharif today praised the bravery of PAF soldiers, saying that, despite being outnumbered, these brave soldiers used their courage to defy the enemy’s despicable aims.
“On September 7, 1965, the PAF’s Shaheens created a history of courage, bravery, and courage,” the Prime Minister remarked in his statement.
He highlighted in particular the courageousness of Muhammad Mahmood Alam, who shot down five enemy planes in less than a minute.
Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also honoured the PAF for its courageous role in the 1965 war and its enduring legacy.
